Update
PR/Bar was founded by Pasha L. Stocking due to the lack of quality careers within the marketing industry. Unemployed for over 10 months and having no luck finding a suitable job, Pasha decided to launch a self-promotional ad campaign by creating a website, a twitter account, a blog based on her journey with finding a job and last but not least renting a 14×48 foot billboard and sending out a few press releases to local newspapers to let them know about the campaign. The billboard was placed on a major highway (Interstate 95) in Fairfield County, CT. in hopes of having a prospective employer hire her, the billboard directed people to go to her website hirepasha.com. Feeling relatively confident that she would land a job once the billboard was erected, what happened next was unexpected. The billboard caused a worldwide media frenzy with her ad campaign and she was constantly being requested for media interviews with national media giants such as CNN, Fox & Friends, Good Morning America, MTV, New York Times, Washington Post, Boston Globe, Australia Sunrise, The Jay Thomas Show, CBS Radio New York and Good Morning Connecticut just to name a few, with hundreds of mentions in national, international, newspapers, online media, blogs and radio stations. However after all was said and done and approaching a year of unemployment and “fail” interviews, Pasha decided to create her own economy and thus PR/Bar was created. One of her hopes is that all of the people that have their resume on her “Hire Me Too” page either have or will find employment and if not she would eventually love to employ them but only if they wanted to of course, that would be a great outcome, she believes. Pasha currently volunteers for various organizations, she started an online magazine called Poshology and she also writes articles for the Hartford Fashion News Examiner amongst a whole host of things she gets herself into!
